| Our
hand-hewn log cabins are well spaced for a maximum of privacy, and each
is equipped with an outdoor campfire pit and picnic table. They are fully
supplied for housekeeping, with gas ranges, gas refrigerators, gas heaters
and gas lamps. Cooking and eating utensils, sheets, pillow cases, blankets
and pillows are provided. All you need to bring are food, personal items
(toiletries), bath towels and good weather. Each cabin has fluorescent
lighting supplied by generator-powered electricity from dusk until 10:00
PM each evening. Some people like to supplement the cabin lighting with their own lanterns (the new LED and fluorescent ones are great!). Tested and state-approved sparkling spring water is available at nearby faucets, where you can fill your 5-gallon spigot water jugs for use in your cabin. Each cabin has its own conveniently located outhouse, and additional portable toilets are brought in and serviced weekly during the summer. There is also a centrally located shower house with three separate shower rooms for your hot showers. |
